Yes it does depend on wether it's true high pressure aero or low pressure pond pump spray nozzles. What are u running?

The systems called g s pot system and it uses 3 pumps so it must be high power, not that i new there was different types ha. Also depending where you look everyone has a different ph figuire some say 5.5/5.8 some 5.8/6.2 from what ive read it says aeroponic you use a lower ec but then as i said another site contradicts.

I just retired my low pressure setup but I like to start at 5.6ish and let it rise if at all. I change Res water weekly and run a low EC at 1.2 max. Still not sure if you're running high or low pressure though lol. More pumps just means more flow not more pressure. High pressure pumps produce 80 plus PSIG. As for timing I ran very sparingly until roots were established and hanging down. At peak veg I was running .5 on and .5 off till finish.

showing my experience here aint i lol, it has 2 little jets underneath the lid and it they squirt rather than a drip, is that whats ment by high pressure ? I got this system years ago and never used it and cant find nothing on Google about it now, i used it once and remember ec never went over 1.2 then, the nutrients ive just picked up think brand is shogun saying 1.5 and i followed instructions and ended up with nutrient burn so my mate tells me, so do you think dont go over 1.2, the system uses 3 hydor l40 attached picture if you could tell me if its low or high pressure, sorry for all questions just relying on peoples experience because different sites saying different things. Topping plants people saying dont do more than twice and others say as much as want

I thought the chart that came with the nutrients would of been gospel. Thanks for the help i take it that its just down to a bit of trial and error first 1 or 2 grows till you no what works for your setup.

I never follow a munufacturers label since they always overnute according to their charts. Their main goal is to sell product. Its safe to say that most run 1/2 strength of what the label says. Best advice I can give is -"Feed what they need, not what you read". She'll let you know what she wants.

Thankyou for that im just trying to gather all the right information together, iv had 2 wks seedling stage and start of 3rd wk veg at the moment and im hearing alot of people on about topping them now and triming the bottom 3rd of the plants, is it the right time to do that or are they two young, i have tried looking all this up i bought that growers bible and googled alot but just seem to be finding everyone has there way and just worries me a little.

I begin topping at the 5th node. If you are referring to "lollipopping" I usually do that in the last 10 days of veg up into the first week into flower. I ususally end up taking off about the bottom 1/3 of the plants. Sometimes more if it stretches a lot during the 1st week of flower. You'll be able to tell better what to keep and what to trim off once it goes into preflower. Everyone has their own techniques so what you read suggests that these are hearty plants that will survive more than one technique. Try new things and see what works best for you and along the way you will be sure to find what doesnt work as well.
