Alright i just bought an aerogarden pro 200 that should be coming in a couple days, This is my first grow not only my first hydroponic grow. I really dont know much about anything and i was wondering if the fine people here in this forum could help me out.


I basically know nothing and have a few seeds from some high grade mids i picked up a while back. I only want to grow 2-3 plants in it so the plants dont fight for light or anything. What lighting schedules should i use, and when. What nutrients should i use (preferably that i can pick up locally), i plan to make a grow journal out of this and hopefully a semi successful grow, mainly for experience for future grows and if i can get a quad out of it ill be happy.

Any help is greatly appreciated

I used the tomatoe setting .. I also used MG houseplant liquid plant food . I added a small airstone 3 plants should be ok.... good luck

hey furby,

i have an AG and i dont use the pre set times. for veg just keep it on 24/7. your gonna want an air stone in your tank so the roots can get O2. keep the air stone pumpin 24/7 throughout the whole grow.

When the time comes for flowering your gonna want 12/12 lighting. so what i did was put the AG on a timer. I set the timer for 12 hours on and 12 hours off. this will give you a true 12/12 lighting schedule. be sure to only put the AG on the timer. you want your fans and airpumps on at all times. other than that get the right nutrients and you should get a nice little harvest. make sure your Ph levels are on point (5.8-6.3 approx). also when the time comes for flowering you should either invest in a HPS light (highley recomended) or RED spec. LED panels. The LED's are ok but the HPS will give you a nice bushy harvest. Good luck! let me kno if u need more help.
