advice.

I order a Budget 125W CFL System With 125W Red Lamp off the net its like a evirolite but its called a maxibright its 125w has a reflector and lead + hanging stuff and it red spectrum for flowering.

Will this be good enough to grow just 1 plant in its flowering stage???

My mate said i should have 400w too grow 4 or 5 plants.

What i do is grow them under a growlux through veg and then when flowering i will grow it under the 125w.

I dont want any high powered crap like hid or hps some of them give off a awful lot of heat.

I also have another problem with tiny black flys they fly around my plants and seem to home in on the soil area but saying that i think iv been leaving too much water in there and some one told me if i cut down on water it will help and also the plants will outgrow the flys?. I dunno. But as soon as i poured the stagnent water away the flyes seemed to follow it.

So i think it is the water.

How much water should i be giving my top44 indica and how often?

Also they sell carbon products at my local pet shop as they use it for fish tanks

could i use the carbon to make my own carbon filter?

I have my room which is not far from the grow room and i do not mind the smell but i just do not want the smell to leave my room and go elsewhere in the house.

Is there anyway i could just filter the smell as it enters my room instead of filtering the smell in the grow room?
