i am using 2 1000 watt bulbs with aircooled hoods and insulated ducting. i have a 160 cfm inline duct fan to pull fresh air inside, with the insulated ducting attached to the lights (which are in a row.) On the other end of the lights i have a 400 cfm blower fan exhausting air to the attic. Will this be ok to exhaust the lights without many issues. this exhaust is only for the lights not the room. Any advice would be much appreciated.:-o:-o:-o

If your not exhausting the room are you pulling fresh air through the other side?
Also depending on where ya live the attic is a bad idea.
Attics are suppose to remain the same temp as the outside air.
So if your exhausting hot air into the attic and its cold outside you will just be creating a big problem.
Humidity, condensation, rot, black mold. Bad!

sorry i should have added more detail. My exhaust will run from a cool spot outside into my insulated room. I will have a 160 cfm booster pulling the air outside in, run insulated tubing thru both lights and out into the top of my garage with a 400 cfm blower fan. Should that be sufficient to prevent a ton of heat getting into my room from the lights. I am currently re-routing my kitchen a/c into my room which is insulated. I will also have to fans exhausting air from the room itself..

I'd say it sounds good, except for what I said about the attic as long as your area permits it you should be good.
