My garden is at about 78-80f when i run just the 600whps, i however need to turn my 400whps back on, that unfortunately raises the temps to 90 and above and i obvioulsy want it like 75-78 degrees with the ability to go lower if i want.

the garden isjust under 8'x8'x6' (sloped ceiling)

would an air conditioner cool that?preferably a portable one, not one the needs to sit in a window. (i can exhaust out a window)

what is the deal with evaprative coolers?would that up my humidity level alot?

any other thoughts would be sweet

are your lights air cooled?

what do you have for ventilation in the room?

can you run the lights at night to help with the temps?

ive never used an evap cooler, it may raise the humidity.

a portable a/c would be nice but will cost a lot to run especially with exhaust fan running. but it will help to lower humidity also.

my 600whps is aircooled the 400w i want to turn on is not

i use a jobsite air mover(750cfm) that vents grow room air out a window

yes lights run 6pm-6am, heat is only an issue for the summer months

a portable air condtioner would cost as much as a 100w hps right?

make the 400w a cooltube or get another air cooled hood.

that air mover is going to move a lot of air. the portabl a/c will probly run nonstop with exhaust running.

summer is hot for me also.

not sure on the cost question. cost as much to run or buy?
the portable a/c is quite expensive to buy and run. much more than the 100 watt.
