Advice On Lighting

Hi i am considering buying a blackstar 240 watt (flowering model) for both veg and flowering in small 80cmx80cmx160cm tent live in uk so the only person selling blackstar is ukgrowlights.co.uk has anyone purchased from this company i cant find any feedback about them they seem to only sell blackstar lights.IF i buy direct from usa importing blackstar from usa is £43 shipping and about the same in import duties so £90 on top of the list price if i buy from usa. the light cost £239 in uk from here but i have no purchase feedback http://ukgrowlights.co.uk/new-2012-lighthouse-240w-blackstar-led-grow-light-ultra-violet.html .cheers

you might as well buy form the UK man. the company that sells them here (or at least they seem to be the primary distributor) is Gotham Hydro. They have VERY mixed reviews on service and honesty. But the product itself is reasonably sound and probably the best LED/price. Given that info, just buy it as locally as you can. This makes returns and all that MUCH easier for you. Unless the dollar takes a nose dive in the next few days and you can really benefit from the exchange rate.

Thanks i wrote to Lighthouse hydro and got an email back saying the company in the uk http://www.ukgrowlights.co.uk/ was an authorized reseller and also http://www.chrissiesgarden.co.uk/ was ok to buy from.

edit: just bought 1 blackstar 240w from a uk seller on ebay for £165 so hope its working ok when i get it .
