So I don't have money for any CO2 enrichers so I figured maybe sparkling water might work. I picked up a bottle of low sodium Canada Dry Club Soda. For the young plants a plan on spraying the surfaces AROUND the plants, and not the plants at all. For the larger plants the idea is the same except with a small amount of foliar feeding too (with just the CO2 water). However I am concerned about some of the contents.
The bottle says it contains;
Carbonated Water, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Citrate, Potassium Sulfate, Disodium Phosphate.
It is only 3% Sodium, and judging by the contents it is for the most part ionically bonded to Citrate as Na+3+C3H5O(COO)3^-3 so my guess is it cannot be absorbed by the plant anyway. However the Potassium, and Phosphate concern me. Does anyone have any input before I give this a try?
