Advice on 4x8 tent setup (ventilation)

Okay so shortly I'll be starting things off in a 4x8x7'11". This will be the first tent I've owned and I think I'm going to go with Gorilla unless a lot of people have an opinion on better tents to run with. What I really need help with is the ventilation, carbon filter, etc. Basically any intake fan or exhaust and filter, etc. I don't know what's best to use.

I know prices can vary and some smaller fans can be more efficient than some larger ones. If it was you and you wanted to absolutely ensure no problems in the future with the possibility of the whole floor print nearly being covered with tall plants at some points and had enough money to get something really nice, what would you buy? Then if you could have your ideal setup with money being no option what would you buy?

I think I might have put this in the wrong forum. When I looked down through the list and saw the grow room design forum with the explanation I realized. If a mod or admin sees this and sees fit for it to be there, please move it. I'll be a little more careful in the future.

Well it can really depend on lighting.a 1000 watt light will generate more heat than say t-5s and a T-5 will generate more heat than a led.Go big is my suggestion,get a variable speed 8 " fan for exhaust with an 8" carbon filter.does your tent allow intake from the Bottom?

256 cubic feet.. It's been recommended to me that air should change over completely at least every 3 minutes. I think I turn mine around 3 times per minute.

I guess the question would be "Do you want to air cool your lights or are you using air conditioner or maybe live in a cold climate?

Also depends on the distance the air has to travel.
You want it to be as efficient as possible.

I'm just guessing because I've never set up a space this large. Maybe something like this? I think they run on the quiet side.

Yea, Gorilla definitely makes the best tent from what I have seen and researched.. You can find quality tents for less though. Secret Jardin is supposed to be quality. I have an Apollo and honestly don't have too many complaints. For you a gorilla may be nice because of the strength of the frame. All your equipment will weigh a lot.

The lights will be four PlatinumLED p600's for now. I've got one PlatinumLED p450 now in a 4x3.75 closet and the light is never hot, it doesn't put off a massive amount of heat or anything, but using FFOF/FF Light Warrior it dries out the soil pretty quickly, even just after one or two light cycles. I have no problem when they're seedlings and babies because I just lightly rubberband a decent size plastic ziplock bag around the pot and problem solved there, but it also (after 18 hours of straight use) raises the temp in that closet about 3 degrees F.

I'll have to look to see if the tent allows for intake from the bottom. That's something I'm not sure of right this sec although that seems like the ideal spot for it. The tent has double cinching (drawstring around intake/exhaust inside and out) 10" ports but I'm not sure where they are. I want something that's going to move that air and keep temps where they should be. If I have to spent a bit during this stage that's okay. I'm prepared for that.

The tent is going to be indoors and I think the most efficient and easy way would be to air cool it with the right equipment. Thanks for throwing out a couple other quality names (even though I think I'm gonna need to go with gorilla for this tent because of the weight it's going to need to support). Thanks for the link as well. Gives me an idea of what I'm looking at.

I use a ram 8" centrifugal fan in that space and run it at half speed with controller speeding it up when temp reaches 27.5c. but that's with independently cooled hps, dunno how they stack up against ur leds heat wise though.
