Adding soil?

will it hurt to add more soil (ffof soil) to my plants during flowering? 6 weeks??? it shouldnt hurt anything right? soil is just getting low in the pots..... any help

It should not hurt but remember you are adding a fresh layer of nutes as well. How big are they and how many gallons are they in? Pics are always nice.

Hey BK, I got the same problem. I got purple kush in a 3 gallon also with Fox Farm Ocean Floor and it is 4 inches from top. It looks like i only put 2 out of 3 gallon of soil in it. It has been in there for almost 9 weeks now. I was thinking about taking the plant out and putting the new soil (FFOF) on the buttom but am worried about shocking the plants. What woulda veteran like you do?

Again, pics would help. But, Both of these girls are in 3 gal bags and there is a good 3-4 inches of space there. If they don't look like there is anything wrong with them then why fix wat ain't broken. As for taking it out of a pot and adding dirt and putting her right back in...I don't think I would go there. If you do plan on adding soil especially something as hot as FFOF, I would make a mostly perlite/FFOF layer and put it on top. You don't want to start adding a bunch of fresh nutes to a plant that is close to finish. Just my humble opinion.
