Adding Centrum Vitamins to Reservoir

I had a recent case of almost root rot. I noticed a foul odor coming from my rockwool, when I lifted the reservoir top my net pots had foam on them, the water was brown, and my roots were brown in some places.

I did a quick wash of the roots and net pots via warm water and my shower head. Then scrubbed the reservoir and everything else with bleach.

I read that Vitamin B1 can help prevent root rot. And adding peroxide can take away essential minerals.

HERE IS MY QUESTION
CAN I TAKE A CENTRUM MULTI-VITAMIN, CRUSH IT UP, AND PUT IT IN MY RESERVOIR? WILL THIS DO ANYTHING?

add h202. dont add the vitamin. i am guessing. i use rw, i use h202, i have not had a problem. ordr the stuff from a hydro store. it is cheap like 0 dollars for a supply that will last you several gorws. B1 is what is in superthrive. never heard about that doing anything for root rot. If you dont like h202 you might try a substitute. Liek hydroguard. Use that if you are using organic nutrients. Organic nutrients have micro. . . oops got to go. WOnt hurt nutes h202 unleess good bugs,
