Well lets see. I am a cfl grower as many have noticed and I was interested in adding two led lights in my flowering area. I'm not looking to spend that much $$$ so it be helpful if we could stay under the $50 range. Also any info on led lights from your common store would be very helpful. I am familiar with Watts/lumens/kelvin rating. Thx for reading and replying.

$50 dollars is not any type of budget dealing with led lighting. That would probably get you some flashlights or something.
That's my whole reason of not buying a led light as of yet the price.. I'm leaning into buying 1 to try out but you need at least $200-$300 to try a small ufo(90 wat led ) or a small system to light up a 2x2.

If 50 is your budget right now just stick with the cfls for now and when you get a couple hundred more then look into led lights

^^^^^ absolutely agree. You're not going to get anything worth while for 50 dollars. You can get those 14 watt panels but those wouldn't grow you anything. If led is what you want you need to save your money for it. I'm an led grower and the cost to start is a lot. Good grammar goes a long way. Just ask bilbo baggins

I got a cheap 300w from eBay for $200ish. I didn't use it so I gave it and 3 Critical Jack clones to a friend to add to his cfl grow. I just talked to him a few ago and he says they've almost quadrupled in size already. But it's in a small closet grow, 2x2 or so. Either way, you'll be happy if you get one but it won't be at that price. Mine was a cheap one from Hong Kong so look to spend double what I did, or more, if you buy American. Good luck!

Goodlookin out I appreciate it. Yea I knew they were expensive just never used them. Cfls just became a long driven habit. I have 2 600watt hPS systems too
