I'm in my 4th week of flowering, using fox farm soil in 3 gal pots. (Grow tent) I have to water every other day. Should I use nutrients every feeding or every other feeding? There's a little bit of nute burn but that was from when I first started using nutes. They've been looking pretty good so far but I would love to hear some insight. This is my first grow.

You really should take pics when the light is off.

I feed if they look like they need it otherwise ill just water.
Here you go bro. Nevermind the two leaves in the middle. They're getting plucked today

When I used ffof and their nutes I would water only for the 1st 4 weeks then feed occasionally maybe every 3rd or 4th watering with Big bloom (I'm assuming you are using ff ferts).
Then I would feed Tiger Bloom for the 1st time at 1/2 dose about 1 or 2 weeks into flowering.
I would probably use Tiger bloom and big bloom every 3rd or 4th watering during flowering.
I don't use those nutes anymore, I have switched to dry organic amendments but had good grows using those nutes in the past.
I also use General Organics cal/mag+. because I use ro water. I use about 1/4 tsp per gal of cal mag every other watering.
Some plant demand more calcium than I use so it's about growing the same strain over and over until you dial in it's demands. Not all MJ plants have the same needs.
Your plants look over fed, looks like nitrogen tox. I would go water only for a bit.
Make sure you are letting them dry out some before watering.

If they look weak when you skip a feeding, and they get burnt when you feed every day, I would personally dial back the feed a Little bit but still feed every day. It sounds as if the plants are telling you what they want. Just listen.

Sounds good. I'm currently using Emerald Harvest nute line. I also have a dry/ wet meter. I'll try out the water only for a feed or two depending on how it goes. Thanks

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. Thanks bro!

To my defense they were wilting and turning yellow before I started with the nutes. And they've started back turning healthy green. I may need to just use a little bit after not using any for a few waters

No worries, I'm just sharing what I actually did in the past to see if it gives you any ideas to work with in the future, that's all.

For sure man. I just wanted to give you the overall picture of what happened lmao. I'm definitely soaking in all of the advice. A pic below before I called myself "fixing" the problem. There were a few leaves like this.

With that being said. Should I continue to add the nutes two weeks before harvest or use what it says on the chart?
I would taper the nutrients like those directions show, and the page even talks about flushing.....I dont flush, I reduce nutrient supply as my plants finish, same in my outside garden. tomatoes just taste better that way

Sounds good to me. I just don't want it to come out tasting funny after all of the work I put into them lol. I always hear about people saying skip the nutes for the last two weeks but I think I'll just go with the chart

what is your lighting? light and co2 are the actual plant food. nutes is just vitamins and minerals for us. as they wisely stated above the plant will tell you. usually with weak lighting in ffof you don't need any nutes at all. maby a good microbe to make available whats already there. I also agree thoes plants are nitrogen toxic.

half way down this page is a break down I did of emerald harvests nutrient line. if you are running the cal mag I would stop it all together. it adds the most nitrogen in that line in bloom. would also dial back the bloom a by a couple mills per gal

I'm running a hps 400 watt. I just used cal mag once on my last feeding because of the pic below. Do you suggest that I just use plain water for a few feeds?
