Active vs Passive intake ?

So given that I'm gonna be facing some below-freezing temps in the next few months, I've had some people on here recommend me getting rid of my active intake and just getting my air exchange from the passive created by my exhaust fan. What does everyone think? Is there any benefit to be had by running my intake active?

Yes, I will have oscillating fans keeping air moving inside the room as well.

Thanks.

Trial and error I guess. Find a way to keep the temp. fluctuations to a min. sounds like you might not need the intake fan to keep things cool. Just as long as there is air exchange you could kill it I suppose.
