Will these work?

Also any recommendation on a bag I could use instead of dumping the EWC directly into the water?

Thanks, this is what i ended up using, dollar store.

I actually prefer not to use a bag. I just toss them in. I also removed the little filter on my pump, but I would put it back in if I add compost with bark or stuff that my pump wouldn't like. And I like stones. You can easily boil them to really clean them up. Here's a couple pics I took for someone else awhile ago.
