Acclimatizing plants

SO i have some seeds i got off a mate. They were grown in my area outdoors and do very well (i seen).
I live in Australia, victoria. They are a hybrid of some kind.
I have them going now only just started in the green house.
My question if i grew them in green house instead of outdoors like they were, and bred them for seeds, would these seeds be more suited to grow in the greenhouse when i planted them the next year? Or does it take a lot more generations than that? Would it weaken the genetic ability to grow outdoors??
Thanks :)

One generation is not going to change the genetics in any noticeable way, it will not weaken the genetics. When you grow out the seeds there will be different phenotypes (some plants will show different characteristics). You could select the plants that grow the best in your chosen environment and breed those for future use.

Yea, more genetic than where the mother was grown.

As Cascadian said, select the plants that grow the best in your chosen environment and breed those for future use.
Pretty much how I choose my clones.

Choose the best gals from my seedlings, clone them, grow the mothers out and if I like the final product I keep the clone, if not I either scrap it or grow it out.
