Just get your light schedule back on track it should be fine

you should consider getting a timer they are like $6 at walmart

best thing is to have a consistant schedule and timer does that for you

I picked up this REALLY nice timer/power strip from home depot the other day $20. But it lets you program in the current time and do up to the minute and day by day schedules for 4 outlets and then it has 4 more outlets that are on 24/7. Right now I have my lights set to come on at 6pm along with my oscillating fan. Then I have my exhaust fan coming on at 6:30 and turning off at 5:30. and my air pump for my cloner on 24/7. Its really worth it to get a nice timer even if you are on a budget.

well I'm an electronics tech and never heard of that

in US the 3 prongs are hot, nuetral and ground, so no matter what one of the prongs will remain hot

Yeah, I've been using a cheapo one with 15 minute increments I got at Lowes for like $12... Have had no issues running a digital ballast with a 400w light (ventilation/pumps runs 24/7). You shouldn't have any issues either, as long as you don't exceed its capacity (usually 1500-1825 watts).

It's nice being able to leave for a couple days :).
