I bought a couple Barnies Farms AG pick/mix last spring for my ole man as a gift since he always talked about that shit and neither germed for him. He is gonna give it shot again but not with Barneys Farm AG, thinking of Gage Greens- Ms Columbia or World of Seeds- Columbian Landrace. I did read up on grows of Barney's AG and they seems to only be okay with reports of mutated leaves. I am sure Gage Greens beans have great potential but dont know as of yet. I personally wont buy him the AG beans again with my $.

bty- my ole man knows how to crack a bean, aint his first day doing this sorta thing.

Yeah and its probably $200 for 4 beans! Dr Greenthumb is a rip off for the same genes you can get somewhere else..

barney's isnt very good or i got a bad pheno. i bought one via pick and mix a couple yrs back. i grew mine indoors. it was super vigorous but it didnt reward me with the best bud of my life by any means.

by the end of flowering it had a 600w hps to itself while 4 other plants shared another hps. (so beware of the stretch...either SCROG or SOG imo).

the smoke was okay. it was heady as expected (its a 95% sativa i believe and grew like one). its heady but nothing ultra special so its probably not "real" acapulco gold which was popular for its intense potency and special effects.

ultra fluffy as you'd expect from a near pure sativa.

its not the worst strain i ever ran but i probably wouldnt try it again unless i grew outdoors (i hate it when a strain flops and i had to shell out $$$ for the electricity...height isnt THAT difficult to control unless ur a "n00b")


I grew it 2 yrs ago and i still have about 7 quart sized mason jars of it left.
