Ac threw a carbon filter.

Why put a carbon filter on the AC exhaust, what are you tying to accomplish? That filter shouldn't smell if it's only been used on the intake. Carbon filters are used to remove smell from the grows exhaust, no reason for one on the intake.

I imagine he wants to put it on the ac exhaust because it blows outside and it stinks. So I'm guessing he is drawing air somewhere that is pre carbon filter.

Buy a second filter set a little cheap one for now, use two fans and two filters. Filter the air going into the tent and filter the air coming out of the tent. It'll improve your smell 90 times over. I don't actually connect two fans to my tent but you could. I just have a second filter and fan running in the room, fan sitting directly on the filter
So no it’s going on the exhaust of my ac. Which pumps outside and the air it collects is from the room. It’s a whole room not a tent. But I just want to throw a filter on the exhaust end that’s out side. Like throw up a lil waterproof box and have it lay inside.
So mines a whole room. And the ac can’t really have a pre filter due to how its intake is.. so I’m looking just to have something that will work to catch the stank on its way out. But also don’t know if it really will help that much cuz the filter it self will be sittin out there.

Just run two carbon filters inside the room. A 6 inch and a 4 inch will likely do the trick. I just have my 2nd filter sitting on the ground and the fan connected directly to it, just scrubbing the room air in general. My other filter is on the exhaust of my tent. Tent or no tent 2 filters should tidy up that room before the smell leaves.
