AC Infinity Cloudline 12V controllers (old model)

Hey everyone

When I was trying to troubleshoot why my cloudline T4 controller wasn't working correctly, AC Infinity accidentally sent me 2 of the older model controllers for the original versions that were for 12V fans. The fan I have is 24V, so these don't work. They also dont have any backstock of the 12V version and I can't seem to find them anywhere online even used after searching for like a year.

I am about to just salvage the AC adapters (12V 4.2A) for some other purpose but I feel bad letting these controllers go to waste if someone else can use them or someone can help me reprogram them to work with some other type of fans.

so this power adapter puts out 12V 4.2A.

the controller has 2 ports on the back and says it outputs 12V 4A max. assuming that since it has connections for 2 fans, they are connected in parallel so each port would put out 2A?

I also looked into it some more and the 4 pins are pos/neg/grnd/pwm. so thinking I could connect any 12V 2A pwm computer fan? something like this should work? anybody know what the CFM for these is? any DIY designs anyone has for using these for tent intake/exhaust?

Got it wired up finally! now I just need to build a box for it somehow.

found these 12V 2A pwm fans on Amazon for $21. had to order some cables as well to get everything hooked up but it works! not bad for a fan w speed and temp controller. sucks it doesn't have RH but it does have the original "smart" mode where u can have it ramp up speed based on target temps. once I finish the build I have one more I can make. these will both go into my veg tents for now.

Decent enough CFM for a little fan! . Comparable to the 4" inline fans you see for grow tents. Very curious to see how this works. Could work great for a little grow box. I am gonna be working on a little growbox project soon. :D. So many projects. So little time. Totally keeping this in mind.
