? about moisture in buds

So i have 3g of some superior looking herb..and it weighed a lot more 3 days ago when i first got it. i searched the forum for 'moisture' and didn't find much, so im asking here, could a dealer rip u off by selling really fresh bud? If the moisture dissapears after drying out, weight goes down a shit ton it seems. It was so green fresh and sticky when i got it that it wouldnt smoke right, decided to stop trying after 1 hit and let it dry.

yeah you got ripped off, usually dealers who do that are looking for a sucker or a quick buck(prolly cause they have addictions) so you can get alot more out of him by paying less so next time dont goto him
