Which light should i buy

SGS price is tough to beat, but you better order! With a quickness....

Isn't the SGS the basis/original design for the RW150, anyway?

Just pulled the trigger Area 51 SGS 160 the price looked good and I like the 2:1 white to red ratio and the color of the white diodes look awesome for my flower room more posts to come when light gets here / review of whole process with a51 as well thanks guys.

Just got a confirmation email stating my light will be shipped the 25th and to expect it by the end of next week so awesome response so far happy with my order will update this post on next update / receiving light.

Just got another email stating they have shipped my light and sent me a USPS tracking number, everything great so far more updates to come when light gets here.

good choice. Opposite of what I've been saying in the past. Now I think the sgs will out perform the rw based on skunky's par chart

Thats the one I have. I got it before the rw was realeased. It flowers pretty well. It veg's better than anything I've seen first hand. I haven't done the diy cobs yet though...

Nice, I was just looking at thier lights, still waiting, but I finally have the extra dough to get my first led light. Which is better? I am hoping to replace 1 400w cmh for veg. Also I remember earlier this summer a51 had two new lights that were "coming soon" then shortly after they changed it back to normal. I sent an email a while back asking about them. One was a 90w veg light and the other was a 500w version of the rws. I have been patiently waiting and biding my time to see if anything new comes out. So is the 160 better than the 150?

not sure if its better but just has a lot more test grows and the spectrum is similar to what apachetech uses in a 2:1 W/R ratio. The RW looks great too just not as tested as the SGS but may make better buds not sure.

so the existing SGS' are getting made in the new white cases? :/ I really like the look of the silver cases, personally.

You got a picture of the old case? Mine has 2 switches on top one controls reds one controls whites, its full blast right now in the garden right now and lookin sexy!

Yea the old cases only had one switch for the reds, always made you sketchy plugging the cord into the panel..

Don't get me wrong the ATs look good, but I dig the silver case on the SGS, and almost got a black AT200 if I had decided to wait it out. (Week longer to move components to another case), should of... Would look bad as fuck.

Some companies may make the debate it helps with any lost Photons being reflected back.. But does t REALLY make that much of a difference? O well, only cosmetic anyways.
