A spicy smell?

Sorry no pics any more current then what is in my album. I was checking my plant last night and turned it like I do every day and noticed a spicy smell on my buds. I wasn't sure I was smelling the bud or something else. I lightly touched one of the buds and smelled my fingers and it was a spicy smell, I got closer and smelled the bud just as a final check and spicy. Has anyone else had a similar scent from their plants?

Oh, and about 50-40% of my pistils are orange now and most all of the trichs I have checked are milky/cloudy.

......Anyone?

Could some one comment on this? at least call me an idiot for thinking my bud has a spicy smell.

im no pro n i just started this profile today, but i have grown a lot. if it has a "spicy" smell (I'm assuming you mean like a cooking spice) its more than likely just the type of plant. some of my crops i have also associated with having a spice-like smell and they turned out to be a different strain. Also it may be due to the type of fertilizer you use. Avoid miracle-gro sticks because they have eaten up some of my plants but i have found that miracle-gro soil and organic compounds work the best.

I did use miracle grow, but not a stick. It is a miracle grow flowering fert. The smell is like a cooking spice and I noticed it after I began using molasses, but the buds look just as healthy and are maturing normally it seems.

yea im pretty sure its not a sign of anything wrong. like i said its one of your additives or its the type of strain. plenty of mine have smelled like that n i use miracle gro
