edit: woooopss. I thought this was the organic section! Can I be moved? Hi, this is for a "water only" or "super soil" grow. This style has got me for the moment. My plants are currently in a pre mixed super soil and doing great. They are doing so great when I transplanted form 8 ounce beer cups and rapid rooters to their next home, a set of one gallon pots, I premixed some dry ferts, organic, and they are doing awesome.

This is old school planting and I am full of myself that this shtogun of love approach. They eat whenever and how much of whatever they want. They love it. It is easy on the wallet too. very cool.

So here is my latest mix idea. I got most of the stuff right here. I have a few questions. I hope their is some experience.

Ok, I am starting with a
= base Premier Peat moss. 2.2 cubic feat un-amended.
=one cubic feat of composted forest humus and composted steer manure.
=a big bag of worm castings. prob a cubic foot.
=perlite, a lot
=dolomite lime.
=azomite
=blood meal
=bone meal
=kelp meal
=?
=rooters myco

Here is the question, I want more k and on subcools advice I want more P
in there. I was gonna add some bat guano but there is no K guano or another K ingred that wont give me what I want, except...

Peace of Mind Bulb food is a 3-8-8 with organic ingreds and humic acid and extra myco. Only 9 bucks. I am thinking now I will just add maybe one tbsp a gallon of this and have a rich flower mix.

I beleive that plants need some K to get good. Most bloom stims all have K. My soil is unamended mostly.

I will also of course cook this for a month or so and add compost teas during the grow. This should be nice. As of yet I have watered only and had great results. Of course as a former hydor tinkerer I cant help but add hydroguard and liquid karma, and super plant tonic (organic guy, lol), also some cal mag and molasses. I did not add epsom salts and I know the bone has minerals but I adda shot fo cal mag to my ro water once in a while.

So, sound fun? This is a complete mix for about 50 gallons of mix for under 50 bucks! That is nice. I grow a med setup, clone as I go, four in veg and four in flower. Seven gallon bags. Maybe tens. Lumies give me the str. :fire:
Does this sound like a good idea.

I am happy with the shape of the peat moss. Previosuly I was all soil mixed like ocean forest and other premium organic pottign soils. This is my latest idea, that peat based is the best. Then amend the shit for a nice soil all around. Cheap too. I was reading reviews and peat blew the shit out of coir, which I personally hate. It has been bad luck to add my coco worm castings I diy, I am thinking that I need to wash it! lol, not to knock coco, more power to you, I wish I could, but I love peat! Light warrior got me into it.
