A selection of some work

Hey guys so here's some pics of two paintings I just recently finished. I have some other stuff I also want to upload, but I was so stoked about finishing these today that I wanted to upload them first.

First pic:

"Untitled"
This is a painting that's taken almost 2 years to finish because I would work on it so off and on. Anyway, there's a lot of little hidden music references and things in my life that I wanted to incorporate. Mostly just a lot of getting high and drinking brew that got this one accomplished.

second pic:

"In Death's Counsel"
This painting is about seeking death as more of a guide then as a figure of fear. But going into counsel with death, you understand that every action could be your last. And in this mindset, you will then live out every action to it's fullest. Basically, but counseling death you are always living in the moment.

awesome. I think you should definately explore the the style you got going in the first one further.

Here's another piece I started working with in photoshop. Pretty fun stuff that digital art. It really takes the physical process out of art (which is what I really enjoy, mixing paint/colors, getting the paint everywhere, etc.) but you can't argue with that finished product. It does look immaculate.

right on... dude, that second one was fuckin intense. do you sell your work. id put that shit up in my tattoo parlor.
