A questions and comments/advice appreciated

Little info on my plants. This is my first attempt at growing.

Lowrider/ak47 feminised x2

12 27w daylight. 6 over each plant. i keep them on 24/7

Temps were high at first week (85ish), which resulted in some initial leaves curling upwards. This has since been brought down to a reasonable level. I have no thermometer but guess around 75-80F.

Using a Easy2grow kit for watering. Planted in 100% coco coir.

Using fox farm nutes.

They are 17 days old.


Today is the second time I've noticed a sticky, clear liquid on the leaves. Not much, a drop or two. The last time was a few days ago, and this time I've noticed it on both plants. I researched and thought it was Asphids bugs leaving their 'honeydew' but I just checked and found no signs of any bugs. To be cautious, I sprayed them all over with warm water with a little dish-washing detergent. Will be doing this daily this week just to be sure. So if it's not from asphids, what is the sticky substance?

I think overall my plants look pretty healthy but any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Here are some pics.

plants look ok,but if you wish to smoke them stop spraying them with soap.spray only with water or organic nutes,bug killer,etc.The strain is kinda tempermental,so you just let it do its thing.The sticky stuff is the plant protecting itself against dust,etc. and shouldn't be worried about.Growing one myself(1 wk. old),and mine does it,its protection.

I would mix a little neem oil in with the soap and you should be fine In my opinion. They look good and green at this point.

So I have one saying it's normal to the plant, and another person inferring it is related to bugs? Anyone else want to comment?

Lowryders are very temperamental. If you dont see any immediate threat to them leave them alone. The moisture seems to me to be to protect it. Especially if you have not seen any bugs anywhere. My advise about lowryders is leave the little fuckers alone. They will stunt on you in a second, and since they are already small you don't need to harvest a gram from a plant that is 4" tall. Like the guy above said just let them do their thing.

Bumping this with updated pictures and another question.

Setup is still the same but changed out 8 of the 27w with 8 42w soft-white on Monday.

They are 35 days old now.

My question pertains to the discoloring of the leaves. I think it's a bit of nute burn, but some of the leaves are yellow and others just don't look 100%. Is this just due to the natural course during flowering? I've cut out the nutes since Tuesday and have just been using regular water, which is almost 7 ph. I try for a ph of around 6.0 with the nutrients in the water. So I know my ph hasn't been steady, is this the result of that?

What is my next course of action? Should I not do anything and just very slowly introduce the blooming nutes in the coming weeks? Stop with the nutes all together? Just stay the course and not doing anything and just let them finish? I figure they'll be ready to be picked in 6 weeks or so.

Any thoughts on all of this? Thanks
