Hello everyone...looks to me to be a cal mag deficiency but I'm a new grower so I wanted a OG's opinion. Im growing in soil its my 2ed month in veg..nutes are ff trio and I just started cal mag plus last week due to these spots on my leaves.. Soil ph is a little above 7 (one of those 10$ meters for light..moistened of soil and ph) so not really sure whats wrong. Also the spots are on upper newer growth..found 3 leaves like this

I’m not an OG but cal mag issue pretty rare unless you’re using RO water

what type of water are you using?

do you have picture of the entire plant and the other leaves around this particular one ?

Phosphorus issues start at the bottom of the plant.

His issue is at the top, which indicates it's a Cal/Mg issue.

Cool..so does anyone second the phosphorus idea??

NO ....

You at the upper limits of ph at 7.0 for soil.
There is no reason to rely on cheap soil meters when all you have to do is keep a stable ph of whats going in. Meaning control the ph of your water and or mix to “ better “ match the range needed for soil ..... 6.5.

Those leaf issues are signs of a PH issue or swing.
Cannabis does NOT need special water ...

If you use RO or distilled water, the chances are high that your plants are getting next to no Cal-Mag. The same also applies to situations where you are using growing media like coco coir.
