A genetic hermie pollinated my females, seeking helpful advice =)

First and foremost I would like to give a brief introduction to my experience and the situation I'm dealing with. This is only my 2nd grow, my first was HUGELY successful! 3/3 females

This run consisted of 4 female beans, 3 made it into flower, one never germ'd. Currently sitting at week six of 12/12 and plants are thriving, tons of trich production. Probably have another 2-3 weeks until I would normally harvest. However I have noticed seeds on 2/3 of the plants.... The 3rd plant is a sativa dominate and is flowering at a much slower pace, no sign of balls yet, but can guarantee they are on the way due to VERY close proximity of all plants and high air circulation.

#1) Nirvana Ice (FEM Seed) - This plant has grown beautifully as all my others have, however during late veg it began showing signs of what looked to be male preflowers. I guess I was too naive and let it continue to flower in hopes of them being female preflowers that were very very young... I thought I had made the right decision to grow it out when pistols started appearing all over! I thought it was crisis averted! To be brutally honest I did not notice the plant was producing seeds or any hermie signs until yesterday (week six of 12/12) What's weird is there are still no signs of nanners or pollen sacks that are open? Just seed pods. Althogh it would be close to impossible to find in these dense FROSTY nugs. I've noticed most of the seeds are concentrated on lower branches and colas seem to be fairly OK, but won't really know until harvest and cured. This plant has the most seeds by far.

Being this plant is genetically hermie the seeds are crap from what I've been able to gather.

#2) G13 Raw Diesel (FEM Seed) - I am really upset this plant was pollinated, she is BEAUTIFUL (and stinky!). I very strongly believe this plant was a female from the start and was pollinated by the above hermie. Never saw anything remotely close to male pre-flowers 100% pistols all the way. I am REALLY hoping for a silver lining and the seeds she produces are useable and feminized? Not a ton of seeds to be seen, just a few at each inter node, do not seem to be many growing within the bud sites.

#3) NL x Haze #5 - This plant is a typical sativa with a very long flowering period. I will probably harvest it at the time I do the others to make room for a new crop. Most likely will use this under developed plant to attempt at making hash. It is producing trich's just at a slower pace.

So I guess what I'm trying to ask is the following:

- Should I harvest everything early, or let it go out to term? I'm afraid if I let them go the buds will be inundated with seeds vs. harvesting slightly immature bud with less seeds.

- Are the seeds produced by my pollinated female wort my time to save? I would assume they have a 75% chance of female and 25% hermie? Raw Diesel x Ice sounds like a fun combo!

Thanks for any insight you may have!

I'm really not looking forward to sanitizing my grow room!

There's nothing worse than harvesting partially formed seeds, its so hard to separate them and they taste terrible. The ovule, (prospective seed) starts to absorb water and get hard and eventually forms a seed. You'll notice that the dankness in the buds will start to diminish as seed formation progresses.

It's a tough call because you want to finish them out, yet doing so keeps you from starting a new batch sooner. In any event, I would not suggest using the same 'strain' of seeds on your next grow as you'll likely encounter this same issue. At some point, once pollinated, resin production ceases, so all you're doing at that point is finishing useless seeds.

that sucks always hate hermies. and ive warned people several times about nirvanas strains. i got a lot of hermies from their stuff. i got a bunch of their free seeds i dont want to use since they have such a high chance of herming out.

but! first check you plant closely and try to extract a seed. since your not seeing any nanners it could just be swollen calyxes. if your sure its seeds than its up to you whether you move on or not. if you cant find many or any signs of nanners i would continue on since 1 or 2 nanners isnt going to ruin your whole crop. if you start finding a bunch then you can either pluck them and keep going or cut and harvest.

i have a ton of hermi generated seeds from a outdoor crop of mine that im afraid to use since they have a high chance of herming themselfs since they were bred with the hermi pollen. i still keep them just in case i need a extra seed here or there i MAY try them but probably wont... GOOD LUCK! HOPE THIS HELPS!

never heard what you're say before. All feminized seeds are a production of a hermie pollinating a female. And as far as i know "feminized" seeds dont have a high chance of hermie lol

Edit: Unless of course you're talking about your hermie pollinating its self and making a ton of seeds. Yet i can't see a self pollination of a hermie making loads of seeds.
