A/C in 4x8 tent vented through attic roof vent....ok?

My attic too hot tried to run portable AC to cool room didn't do the job leaves are curling up so thought I'd try putting it actually inside the tent Anyone do this
 
So long as it’s not being exhausted into the attic you’re good. Are you talking the main plumbing vent or near the opening in the attic? Or exactly what is the route your exhaust is taking? Venting into the attic even near an opening is not advisable due to mold issues.

He says its his roof vent. Wouldn't be an issue.
