9th Week Woes

Hey All,

New to the scene, as you’ll clearly see, so hoping for a voice of reason.

Grow:
4x4 tent
600w Chilled GrowCraft x5
4 plants – (2) Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion), and (2) Wedding Cake
Soil – Ocean Forrest, with rice hulls amended (70/30) in 7 gal Rain Science grow bags(?)/pots. Also, using couple inches of rice hulls for top dressing. I thought this would prevent\minimize fungus gnats, but I still had a problem. Overwatering….??, probably.
Running GH 3-part, with Great white ( I started out using this on two and Bloom Yellow Bottles on the other two, but I gave that up. Too much)
PH’ing tap water(~130 ppm) to about 6.5 after everything has been mixed.

Situation:
So, I’m into week 9, I believe. I Flipped March 12th. Anyway, the Strawberry Cough is very yellow. Not thinking it’s the fade, as there’s hardly any trichomes. The Wedding Cake is doing much better…not perfect by any stretch, but it’s doing better. I’ve been watering about every 5th day. Pot’s are light, so I would be surprised if overwatering...maybe.

Question:
Is there anything I can do at this point? Not having much trichomes makes me think there’s not a good reason to keep it going, idk.

Definitely, with my next grow I will approach it much differently, but for now, this is what I got. The pics included may not be ideal.

Thanks

Why so much rice hulls? 70/30 is a good mix for hydro, but I wouldn't do that with ocean forest unless you are adding equal parts of EWC. What is the ppm of your feed, and how often do you feed?

Regarding the rice hulls, I amended them to the soil to add silica as they broke down, and then I added a couple inches to the top thinking it might prevent the fungus gnats from becoming too much of a problem. Didn't seem to help. As for feeding I would feed every 5 to 6 days, and would follow the aggressive schedule for the GH Flora 3-part series. In addition to the nutrients, I would also add Great white, and sweet berry (MagSulfer), as directed while in flower. IDK, I missed something, somewhere...

Soon, first bigger is not better with feed, aggressive formula at full feed is why your tips are burnt and you have fox tails. It might be causing lockout as the plant just has to much ppm to deal with, esp as you step up around week 5 or 6 of flower. Do you have a gnat problem, if you do thats the plant they got to first and they are eating the roots. And I always ask what kinda ph meter do you have, was it more than 20 bucks,is it calibrated, and how often do you ph?

Yeah, a new grower so looking at the feed chart and going by that. I read it as, if you water <1 per day (I'm every sixth day), in bigger than 5gal (I'm in 7gal), etc.. So, I thought the aggressive schedule was the way to go. Even though, the data on these strains suggests light feeders. Maybe the above was a reference for when using inert media, not a heavily amended one, like FFOF. As for PH pen, I'm using a Apera PH20. Was more than $20, but I'll re-calibrate regardless. Am I correct in thinking these plants aren't going to make it? It's strange that one of them has basically no Trichomes? I feel like even if I screwed it up pretty bad, it should have some.
