Hey guys I just started my LED closet grow and thought I would share the first grow with you since there is pretty little info / journals on the lower end of LED wattage.
As the title says I use a 90W LED UFO grow light for my (very
) confined space in the closet. The strains are one AK 47, White Russian, and my favorite The OG #18. I bought all of the clones at my local garden store.
If you dont like LED for some philosophical reason that is ok but I wont engage in any stupid flame war over LED/HPS with people who dont know shit about growing. It is about 0.38 square meters; I am NOT going to use something redicolous like 400 HPS or 200 LED. Learn math.
With that out of the way here are the pics from hmm day 1 or 2 of veg (just for root development outside the rockwool). I just started to flower them yesterday since I want to keep everything as compact as possible the first time.
The dimensions of the closet are somewhere around WxHxD (all in cm) 90x185x70
Day 2 of "veg" (I got em as clones so I only gave them like 4 days of veg):
I will update every sunday so expect next sunday to be flower day # 8
Topics I currently would appeciate feedback on :
- All strains are supposedly about 63 days but I will most likely keep em 70. Any experience with my strains?
- I am using Airopots since they are the best but the problem is that I maybe will not be able to take them out if they get too big (the plants see pic). Atm I water them in my bathtub but are there any better ways of stopping the water from pouring out?
Anyways have a good week guys and expect to hear from me next sunday; cant wait to see how fast (compared to my last grow 400HPS "normal" pots) these babies grow with more "modern" equipment.
