8 week old 8 inches?

Heyas folks...This is my first plant first time trying to do this. i have a clone that is 8 inches and is about 8 weeks old. looking at some of the pictures of younger plants, they look nothing like mine does. I'm doing 24/0 light with a 150 watt cfl. miracle grow organic and perlite. I'm using jacks classic 20-20-20 for nutrients. I was hoping for some feedback, does this plant look ok? I can take more pictures if needed.IMG_20110330_130307.jpg

Thanks in advance!

Is the clone itself eight weeks old, or the mother was eight weeks when it was taken? If you've had the clone for eight weeks, you've definitely got some problems there. If it came from an eight week old mother and you've only had it a week or so, you should see some growth soon.

I've had the clone for about 6-8 weeks, it was given to me and I think it was maybe 1 week old when I got her, she has approx. tripled in size but again others look so much more dense or "leafy" mine looks skinny yet it is always growing new leaves, there are little bud looking things between stalks there have to be at least 9 or so of these...are these the nodes? anyways I'm off track sorry. lol

could this be lack of light? i only just bought the 150 watt cfl yesturday. The plants 8 or so weeks with me I was using a 60 watt cfl, ones I use in my lamps.

put some more lights on it, hit it with a fan & go 18/6 with the lights. id bet she hits a growth spurt. are you feeding her any nutrients? how big is the pot?

The bigger pot and better lighting will definitely help. It's still basically a young plant so go easy on the nutrients until you see how it reacts.

Thanks Led and Supra, I put a fan on her, changed the lighting schedule and I'll see how she does with the new pot and new light. I'll update, thanks again!

So I wanted to give an update, since repotting and adding a bigger light over the past 2 weeks she has grown from the initial size of approx 8" to almost 13". She is showing pistils and stipules and growing veg continuously, I currently have about 11 nodes still forming, towards the top of the plant there are stipules as opposed to towards the bottom there are none. Like I said there are pistils, 2 hairs growing out of SOME of the nodes not all. Do you think it's time for the switch? Here is an updated picture of her, but I couldn't get close enough with my cell phone camera (the only camera I have).

Also, the plant from my noob experience is VERY healthy, I constantly monitor it, the leaves are ALL green, no wilting of the tips etc. I prune off dead matter, usually at the very bottom of the main cola the second I see it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all!
