8 Ball Kush Grow

So im onto my second grow now, the first being a cfl, one plant (random seed). Made a few upgrades and just planted four 8 ball kush seeds today. The seeds germ'd for 3 days. Running a 250W metal halide for the first week or so until the plants are strong enough to with stand a 400W Metal Halide, then they will be switched the 400w for a full veg period, flowering i have a 400W HPS light. Im going to be using Dyno-Gro Liquid Grow 7-9-5 for its nutes and will have piranha advanced nutes to help out the roots. Im using coco shavings as the soil medium, temp is going to sit between 27-30 C and 40-65% humidity, hopefully all goes well!

Good luck. I have an 8-Ball Kush @ 28 days 12/12 flowering now. It's looking pretty nice. My first time with this strain.

How is it?
Been holding a seed of the 8 ball kush for a few months now. Debating if i should pop it this week or not.

Well, like I said it's my first time with this strain, but it's looking good. Lots of pistols shooting everywhere now, trichs starting to come in now. It seems to have a nice sweet aroma. Here's a quick shot I took just now at 28 days 12/12:

Alright so i need a little help guys, i haven't worked much with humidity, and right now its sitting lower then i want, between 20-30 % how do i raise this? i hear a spray bottle and mist everything? i was going to get my spray bottle today anyway, anyone help me out with some idea's? i also have a glass of water siitting by the plants but that doesnt seem to be doing much

if ur area is around 80F u can get a saucer of water or cup and put a sponge in it and it will evaporate the water into the air probly giving u 20-30% increase for free..or get a humitifier

oops didnt read tht whole thing...just put the sponge in it itll help it evaporate quicker

So there 4 days since they went into the coco, #1 is 7cm tall, and is growing about 1cm every 10 hours right now, #2 is 6cm tall and growing at the same rate, #3 is at 4.5 cm and is growing a little slower, and #4 is growing the slowest at 3.5cm, i rotated the pots around to see if the lights is maybe hitting #1 and #2 differently, ill see how the next couple days go! here are some pics

I've been disappointed with the two previous Barney's strains I've grown, Vanilla Kush and Pineapple Chunk. I'm staying optimistic with this grow, since my 8-Ball is looking pretty nice, but it's also kinda Barney's last chance with me.

Damn - Vanilla Kush and Pineapple Express were both among my maybe's for my next grow As were LSD & Blue Cheese - Will be following closely to see how this goes

Pineapple Express is much different than Pineapple Chunk. I'd like to try the express.

It took forever to flower (70 + days compared to the 55 day advertised time and it still wasn't done). Also fluffy buds, not real resinous or real powerful.

i love the vanilla kush, maybe barney's doesnt have the best seeds of it, but the vk from amsterdam seeds has been A+ over here

I've had some great Vanilla kush too, but I think there's some wide variation between phenos. All I know is the crap I grew doesn't taste anything like vanilla. It's more like the lavender part of the description. I thought that I had just fucked it up or something, but I was at a local dispensary recently and theirs smelled just like mine. Just really terrible weed. The plants that I grew next to it of different strains were incredible though. I did only pop one seed of it, so maybe I had a bad luck pheno.

i have grown vanilla kush and it was bomb and tasted exactly like vanilla. some really nice weed to grow in my opinion an holy crap did it pack on weight.
also grown barneys farm laughing budda. huge plant with one of the best highs i have experienced real uplifting head high awesome tropical fruit smell and flavour.
growing barneys farm morning glory now and it is looking unreal. only in veg so far and already has an awesome berry smell to it.

i kept my vk as a mother it was that nice

Here is the 8 day update! they are looking pretty good, kinda slowed down there growing. Was wondering if i should be feeding them nutes now? since there in coco i dont no how much there getting. They have been watered a couple times a day about 250ml each plant. I also have the piranha for the roots, should i atleast feed it the rooting fungi? i feel like it would help these guys out. maybe im just being impatient! let me know what you guys think

Hey as in my previous posts I have the superlocker 2.0 arriving next week. The space is small somthing like 15'' x 24" x 4.5 feet tall. I decided to go with 8 ball kush to start because of the shorter 55-60 day flowering time. Based on how this plant grows how many plants of the 8 ball should I start in the small locker ??

Also I heard the 8 ball kush doesn't like much nutes at all compared to most plants ??
