8' * 8' Or larger Grow Room- Advice Needed!

The time has come.

I will be setting up a medium sized grow room inside a garage, that will be at least 64 sq ft.

Going to need to build a box, but unfortunately my carpentry skills are somewhat lax, so if anyone can point me to a good thread detailing how to make a solid box with a door I would appreciate it. Also, what it the name of the foam insulation/paneling that people use for these boxes? I need to make sure the room can keep warm because it gets into the low 40's in the garage during the winter.

Already have a single 600W HPS from a previous grow, and am trying to decide if I should go with 2 more 600W HPS for a total of 3, or if I should grab 2 1000W HPS and use those instead.

Lastly, still deciding what method to use for growing. Since the space is sufficiently large, but not huge, I have decided to go hydro with either a SOG in 2" net pots, or possibly 4" if I can design a cost effective system to grow up to 99 plants....so this really only leaves the specific type of hydro to be determined. This is where I would love some input from someone who has grown in a similar situation...I'd really appreciate if you just mentioned what type of hydro system you used, the ups and downs and your results...a 3*3 ebb and flow table was used in the past with the 600 and a scrog with good results, but not sure if I am sold on ebb and flow tables vs. other more advanced hydro setups like aero or bubbleponics. Again, any input is appreciated.

I will probably try to do a rotating crop as well, but cloning and vegging will not take place in the same room. I have some closet space which I intend to fill with a custom bubbleponics system (2 if I can fit them) for cloning 12-24 clones at a time, and another closet with 2 or more bubbleponics systems in it for vegging under a custom "CFL" rack which I will design to hold ~ 10-12 CFL's, probably 23 or 42 watters.

Roommates will be vegging/cloning as well, so hopefully we can keep close to a full crop in the main flowering room at all time. More to come soon, thanks for reading!
