Here are 4 Purple Kush seeds that I germinated about a week ago. They popped out of soil exactly one week ago today. Anyone have any comments, I would love to hear how they look.
First go at this whole thing, excited yet nervous that I am not doing things right.
- Until now, ONLY ph'd water every 2-3 days and I have misted them lightly a couple of times.
I did notice today that I can see root tips at the holes in the bottom of the pot. Not sticking out yet but they have reached the bottom. I may have a look closer at the roots later today to see if they are ready to move into a bigger home.
- They are currently under 6 - 23W CFL's at 6500K running 24/0. Heat was an issue at first but I seem to have it dialed in to average being in the high 70's to very low 80's. A couple of times in the first few days, temp got outta control and hit 90 but not for very long until I caught it.
- I am about to change my intake and exhaust to take more air out and change intake to passive.
- Small fan blowing at all time in the cabinet. It is directed at the lights and still manages to move the air around the babies.
First pic is my cabinet, pics 2-5 are of the 4 plants. Sorry they are a little blurry, that is a combination of too much coffee while on macro setting !
I have learned A LOT from RIU up until now with the wealth of advice and information contained here. I would appreciate any further comments very much.
Thanks in advance.
Peace
