6site dwc ASAP!!!

I am building a 6 site hydro in a 30gal. tote.

The rule is about 5 gal per plant.?

Do I really need ALL this water?!

Can i use city tap water? I live in a nice area

Any tips about my operation would be nice....as im still learning hydro...

600w enclosed hps

foxfarm nutes (bloom,grow, tiger)

any information would be great.

No you don't need that much water. 2-3 gal per plant is fine and saves you a lot on nutes. The rpoblem is not the water but how close six plants have to be crowded. They are likely to be smaller because of that and so even 2 gal per plant is enough water. I only do four plants in a tote unless I am planning for small plants.

depends on the ppm of your city tap water...If it's really high, then I wouldn't suggest using it straight. I'd get an RO filter. If not high ppm then it's ok to use...

Be sure to find a tote that will hold 200lbs of water. Most totes that big distort and you can't get the cover on.

if it does distort just get some 2x4 and make a frame, then screw the tote to the frame
