6inch vs 8inch air cooled daystar

does it really make much difference will the 8inch stay cooler? dont know what to get two 1000watt 6inch or 8inch daystars, anyone have any suggestions let me know.

An 8" duct can move more air than a 6" duct. It really comes down to matching up your components. You can us a larger fan (more cfm) with the 8" and thus exchange more heat away from the lights. It will of course cost more all the way around to use the 8".

thanks for the info i guess im gonna stick wit the 8inch i plan on connecting up to ten lights at once so im sure i need better air flow

Good call.. You should also consider that, you can move the same amount of air with a 8" fan running at lower speed than a 6".. This will reduce noise. =)
