63F at night! AC floor vent w/ Cooltube&exhaust

So I have a 2x4x7 Room with an AC intake on the floor and an Exhaust in the roof, my problem is that my temperature drops VERY low during the night. I have heard that you do not want more than a 15 degree change as to not stress the plants.

The AC is controlled by one control in a separate part of the house. I have the house temperature set to 78, which for me is hot! Besides covering it up a minute or two before the light goes off, what can I do? I have tried using the grate and facing it to the wall, I have tried using my oscillating fan to push it almost straight up, but alas I return each night and the temperature has yet again dropped to a very low number in the 60's.

I also got a little heater from wal-martwith an adjustable thermostat for which temperature it needs to kick on, but it has not helped hardly at ALL.

If anyone can help me out I would greatly appreciate it! I do not mind getting dirty above or under the room, if there is a solid way to have a CONTROLLED climate, outside of turning off the house AC every night, since the summer nights here get hot.

Any direction in what i need to do is very appreciated!

63 at night is fine, just make sure your humidity stays below 60 and youll be fine..mold and mildew delvelop in cool humid climates. You may want to check into getting a plug and play temp controller for your unit..

Why not just put a "Dryer Vent Draft Blocker" You can than control how much cold air flows into your room. They have ones that are manual and other more expensive ones that will slowly open the hotter it gets and close the colder it gets, but for something like your room I would just get the manual one for like 8 bucks at lowes or homedepot.
