Are the buds still wet to touch? Did you trim entire plant on same day of cutting it down?

Leave stems/stalks together as much as you can. Hang dry is best. They hold water which helps give you a slow dry. Once stems snap jar them up.

Have to have a good climate controlled dry area if you want great tasting smelling stuff.

Make sure you open jars everyday anytime you had fresh bud up

The buds are not wet to the touch..yes trimmed same day..dried 4 day. wasnt a controlled environment..most 75f With 55rh. But the last day it was 79 the. 39 rh...air conditioner went out Jarred after cutting. First day in jars. The rh was 71...took them out dyed for 12 hour. Jarred again. RH is now 60 for 4 days but hay smell

My advice next time hang dry in the largest pieces of plant you can. For minimum of 7 days in a ac controlled area if possible.

Hay smell is something that’s caused by a few thing like Harvesting to early Drying to fast or in to hot of a area.

It is what it is now. Nothing you can do.

Only once shot at curing/drying product correct to preserve taste/smell.

I think you will find eventually that all that rh in the jar stuff is crazy talk. Dry your buds untill the inside of a larger bud will burn in a joint without the joint going out. Fall through your grinder properly type dry.
I think 55%rh makes for a nice slow dry.
15-20celcius.
Then jar it up and burp it the odd time for a week or two if u like.
Hopefully it will take a week or more for all this too occur.
Grow weed easy should take that curing and drying guide down so people stop following that nonsense.
