i am still trying out the leds. but might do a side by side and see if it can be as good as a 600w hid.they dont make 600MH bulbs??? whats wrong with the LED u got?? if they have 600mh bulbs u can use it in the conversion ballest.. either the 600MH or 600HPS will work in it, i beleive... lets u go both ways and a good rule of thumb is .5 grams on avg per watt.. sure u could get more or less but its a ruff idea...maybe not per plant but in ur total grow area...
the LEDs wont come close, speaking from what i've researched/experienced. I just harvested about 500g from a 600w hps in a tent which only measured 1.5x3x6'. Just use the 600, get your temps/exhaust/ph/ec/etc dialed in and you'll be laughing.i am still trying out the leds. but might do a side by side and see if it can be as good as a 600w hid.
ya i am testing the leds and seeing is they can do what they say they can do. keep a eye out for my led grow and we will see what happens.ya i havent really research LED's but from what i ahve heard the upsaide is the cheep hydro but i really dont know
right, it all depends on alot of things. but 1g per 1watt is good rule. how much do u usaly get per plant.I have two Lumatek Dual 600 watt Digital ballasts. For MH, I just use a MH conversion bulb. I use hortilux Eye for HPS.
Yield depends on a lot more than just how many watts you have. But, assuming you have the right method, genetics, climate, etc all dialed in then shoot for 1gram per watt (600 grams is about 1.3 pounds). Anything above .5 grams/watt is commendable
