600w HPS/MH system Question..?

OK so i have this 600w HPS/MH system i want to know do the digital ballast put out the same wattage as a space heater would i'm asking cause i went an looked at my meter an that bitch was spinning compared to my neighbors lol thanks a lot for any info given

As a recommendation, if you wish to save on the $.. do your best to make sure the lights are on during off-peak hours... you will notice a small savings, but if/as your operation expands.. you can save more money in the big picture - especially with the way power rates are going up in some sections of the country. (As an example, since January.. southeast Michigan has seen 6 power rate increases if fed through DTE) I know this in no way answered the question you'd asked, but figured it'd help in the big picture.
