600 watt to 1000? Thinking of upgrade, got some q's

Hello all. I have only used a 600 watt hps to flower. I am sorta satisfied with the buds. But I was wondering if a 1000 watter would be nicer. Same plant number. Four for flower.

Four semi trees for this upcoming flower. For the first time I will be using a rockwool pyramid for trees. 4 inch blocks and 6 inch blocks on top of 8 inch blocks on an ebb table.


I love rockwool and this allows me to use the next thing I love, ebb tables!


So will a 1000 watt make my buds that much tigter than a 600? I want club quality meds as I am some what of a green thumb dude of sorts in my life and want the best and I cannot rest till my shit beats out the best stuff of clubs.

I might be close but man this is making me a perfectionist

co2 is alll ready to go also.

I am a little worried with heat but I will cross that bridge when I come to it.

Unless it is not worth it.

well from personal experience i definitely prefer 1000 for both veg. and flowering. it also depends on how many 600's your running cause it will work the same, for instance two 1000's = 4 600's and regardless it would need to be properly ventilated with inlines, sounds like your setup will be fair in size which means you will more than likely need to run a small window ac. hope i help ya

yeah thanks. For now I did fine with my house ac exhausting out the window. It got a little hot but I handled it. For veg I was using a 400 watt also with a 600 and made it thru a year of grows. Now tho I have a 6 bulb t5 four footer for veg and it is awesome with no heat and good veg lumens.

So as I also have co2 for flower all set up I will prob make it. I might add a portable ac for good measure.

I handled the 600 sometime with no fans as it got so cold this last 6 months! I dont know how but I had her with no hood even for a while and was fine. I do have an 8 inch inline tho. She pulls it nice.

I am legal and dont deal so I am not worried about flir. My neighbors all love me. hehe. I have a kitten in my window. . .


So I could theortically just pump that 1000 watt air right out the window.

I use charcoal filters too.


HEAR is the big Q. I hear all about using 2 600s for a 1000 watter. I am sure the 600 watter get all my space. A 3x3 table. But will the pene and the density be worth it. I have had to deal with extreme power bills that severly depressed me. Lol. But I am a bachelor so fuck it right? Hehe, the girls I date are slackers so hey. . .

well for that size of an area i don't think it would really make that much of a difference. the only time ive seen a difference with something like that was the size of the hood being used.
