600 watt hps, 4.5' x 4.5' grow room, 2nd grow ever, WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I am going to be starting my 2nd grow in about 2 weeks and am looking for advice on how many plants i should grow in a 4.5' x 4.5' room with a 600 watt hps light. I would also like to know about any techniques or strategies I can use to increase yield in my situation. Any advice or help is much appreciated.

I would make me an ebb and flow system if you have the space for it. I like to have a tray for the plants where each plant have each their own pot. This makes it very easy to put in new clones in and move it all a bit around.

That all depends on how long you veg for.
You can that area with many clones freshly rooted, and flower right away. Or you can veg a few plants longer and turn them into mini bushes and get the same yield.

I grow a few plants bigger to comply with my states restrictions on plant limits.

One way to maximize your yield is to keep an even canopy. Don't let one plant grow to tall, as you will have to keep your light above that plants and the rest will get little light.

Flower all of the same strain, preferably grown form clones form the same mother. Top the plants many times as soon as they start to grow and turn them in to mini bushes. then when you flower you will have a full even canopy of top nugs.

sog with many 1 gallon pots will work good if your not worried about limits, or a scrog with only a few lst plants will give you almost the same results..
