6 week flower bud test

20160618_130700.jpg 20160618_130700.jpg Ok so I've just finished week 6 and my ghs exodus cheese is plumping up nicely. I have read about people taking test buds to smoke at around this time. I would normally wait it out but it's gonna be a long weekend with nothing to smoke til Monday and a tent full if bud lol.

So my question is if I were to take a couple of buds to smoke where should i take them from ? Could the plant hermie due to stress from taking the bud ? I know the high won't b no where near the end product but it would bw nice to have a taste ☺ I have scrogged to some extent so most of my bud is on the main colas at the top and i obviously dont want to be taking bud from them so should i be looking at the next node down or from the bottom maybe ? Tia .

use some small ones from the bottom, and if you have a vape use a vape on them. some people put them in the oven at 200 for 15-20 minutes, some use microwave... it seems like with a vape you can get some good rips without needing them to be completely dry. will be harsh as fuck, though.

I have a vape and ddidn't even think of that so take them right from the bottom as in the little tiny flowers that don't have much bud ? Or slightly further up ?

Bro you are not alone. If it gets critical and harvest is close I will raid the bottoms and feel guilty later but cool because it is a QC test... uh yeah.

yeah, don't waste your good bigger shit on some tester bud, the rest may fatten up and actually be weighable instead of trim pile popcorn nugs. i personally only test before jarring, but i use a method called "wrap your popcorn buds in tinfoil tightly and bake at 200 for 15 minutes." I don't suggest anyone try it, but it seems to work
