6 plant perpetual harvest

New to this whole forum thing and looking to start my first grow. The plan is to use 2 week intervals, Every 2 weeks a new set of clones(6) is started and 1 plant at the end of its cycle is harvested. The best clone(1) will be put into veg. At all times throughout there should be 4 plants in flower 2 plants+mother in veg and a set of clones.

Equipment: Flower Tent
•48"x48"x80" Apollo Horticulture grow tent
•600wHps Apollo Horticulture grow light
•Ventech 6" fan 8ft. of 6" ducting and clamps
• Ipower 6" carbon filter
•1 oscillating fan
Equipment: Veg closet
•4'x2'x4' area painted white
•4ft t5 220w grow light
•1 oscillating fan
•Homemade aeroponic 5gal bucket cloner
•Mother plant

So the set up is as follows: Total 16 weeks
Clone time= 2 weeks
Veg time= 4 weeks
Flowering time= 8 weeks
Drying+Curing= 2 weeks

Week 1&2: Let clones root then transfer
Week 3&4: First 2 weeks of veg
Week 5&6: Last 2 weeks of veg then transfer
Week 7&8: First 2 weeks of flower
Week 9&10: Another 2 weeks of flower
Week 11&12: Another 2 weeks of flower
Week 13&14: Last 2 weeks flower then harvest
Week 15&16: Dry buds and start curing

My questions:
•Will this plan work?
•What's the best soil and basic nutrients i should be using?
• Solo Cup or 1 gal pot for veg?
•3 gal or 5 gal pots for flower?
•Any favorite strain for this type set up?

Looking forward to the replies, i'm a complete first timer just looking for some advice to avoid problems in the long run!

I agree, feel it out with a few, start to finish then once you find your vigorous grower strain. Use that for your first perpetual run. Took me several tries to get feeds right temps and humidity but once you get it down let it flow.

It's a good "plan" but when growing cannabis I found that very rarely things go as planned in the first try.

But it seems like you got a good base understanding, in theory that plan will work. if you're a first time grower I suggest to start with 3 seeds and finish Them to harvest then go preputal. There's a very steep learning curve, but good luck.

thanks for tha replies everyone, only reason i had planned on perpetual is because i flip bud and it wouldn't last me very long with 1 harvest every 4 months.

If that's the case the by all means go for it. But keep in mind if it were all that easy as we draw it up everyone would be killing the growing business lol.

THere's a thread called "harvesting a pound every 2 weeks" it's floating around in one of the main sections. Take a read on that, so you can see someone doing a cycle like you want.

I run perp. I started with 3 plants every week. It's been a little bit and I put 1 plant in every Sunday and cut one every Sunday. It's a TON of work to keep it straight but once you get your steady work load in you'll be good to go.

The biggest issue with perpetual is you NEVER GET TIME OFF. There's always a plant to water a plant to work and work to do in your room.
