6" hood 4" carbon filter and inline fan

My grow closet is 133cf. If u use a 170cfm inline 4" fan and carbon filter to my 6" air cooled hood using reducers will it work fine? Problem is i dont have room for the size of a 6 inch fan and carbon filter in this thing and have room to raise the lights all the way up. Someone comfort me and tell me that will work perfect lol.

If you have 600w it's going to get a little warm should be alright with 400 though me thinks as long as you are venting that out of closet into room with ac.

Yes the house is ac cooled and I also plan to do a evap cooler intake into the cap as well. I am getting a NExtgen 400/600 switchable so I can run 400w instead of 600w

four inch fan is plenty to cool a 400 or 600 watt light. no problem at all hooking up a reducer to get from 6 inches to 4.

So you dont think I will loose any air pressure?

sure, you'll lose some, but that doesn't matter at all. what matters is the amount and temperature of air that passes the light and your four inch fan is what will determine the amount of air.
