5x5 help needed

hey everyone i'm just about to buy a new house and i was planing on using a 5x5 space for growing.. i will build the room for growing in the room it's self so i can take care of that.. i was going to get a 600watt hps light i need some help with the rest tho.. smell isn't a prob because i will pull exhaust air into the small attic space above.. i was just wondering if someone experienced could help me along with the fans and other things that i'd need. o and by the way this would be a soil grow.. i was hoping to have 7 bigger plants in the room i would grow them to the height of about 5-6 foot.. i would have a seperate mother room but that i could do on my own...

doesn't have to be expert help i just need advice on how to se it up. i was going to use a 600watt with a cooltube but i'm not sure yet..

I myself have flower area that is 5x5, and I have a 400 and 600 (can get very hot), if i were you i would an air coolable dig 1000w from HTG supply there not that more expensive than a 600, more light = bigger buds. I just recently put a a portable A/C unit in mine, god damm is it so much better now with the heat, even though I air cool my lights with inline fans it stilll wasnt enough to keep the temp below 90. Now with the A/C it stays at 74. I vent my lights into my bedroom but I vent the hot air from the A/C into the ceiling and it works great (and i live in on second floor apartment with a third above and have no problems venting it between floors). I would encourage you put a window A/C or portable one that you can vent somewhere, because it makes life so much easier, got mine for 200$ home depot. I would also encourage you to make a smaller area for veg and mothers (I use CFLS for that)......I do a 40 plant sog now but my first grow i did 7 good sized plants and got 1.5 lbs ( and they didn't take up all the space, I prob could have fit 11 or 12 in there and got another pound. to also save space in my flower space I built shelfs on the sides for the A/C and ballasts. saves room for more plants!

well i was going to have less plants because i need a little space for my water jug and a few shelves to put supplies on.. i also need to fix a dehumidifier in there soo i'd say my space would be about 4x4 or 3x4 for the plants.. so i'm guessing i'm on track with a 600watt?

yeah man that should be good.it sounds good to me.specially if its gonna be less than a 4x4 area you should do fine.I mean in an area any smaller oyu risk not beeing able to control heat you know.but im sure you have that down already.IN my opinion the 600 would do fine.....but thats only my opinion....but if oyu really want that tall of plants maybe the 1000 would be good.unless you were to try something like lst or sog.that way you can get the light closer and not worry about penetration of the light.get the air coolable hood with and inline fan sucking the hot ar from the bulb leading to somewhere outside or away from the grow spot oyud be perfect with a 600.....
