5 days in and problems with 1st set of true leaves

Hey everyone, I'm a first timer and I think i have issues. It's been 5 days since the seed popped in my waterfarm and the cotyledons looked fine. Now the first set are coming in, and have been for about 2 days but they are still small; smaller than the cotyledons. They are also slightly twisted and SMALL...

Now there are a few reasons i could think of that could be causing this.

1, we just had a heat wave the last 2 days and the temps stayed in 85 range for 2 days straight.

2. I've been running the waterfarm 24/7 and its too much water for a seedling. or

3. Maybe its something small that a nube grower like myself is blowing out of proportion.



my specs are
3x3X7 tent
300cfm 6 inch max fan
400 watt Mh, Positioned as high as possible

Right now, my temps stay between 73-81F and ph stays 5.3.- 6.0

please help me.. from freaking out!

I'd get rid of the tin foil. It makes to many hot spots.
what's your nutrient solution temp? if that gets to high you can run into alot of problems quickly.
Try to keep your light in height range.

Ahh you might be on to something. I checked the res temp and its was 77 degrees?!!!!!

Well I insulated the waterfarm with reflectix, tossed the foil, put the fan right over the top of the waterfarml and put the air pump next to the a/c.... lets see if that helps, might have to freeze some water bottles
