5 AK-48 & 5 Northern Light By Triple S - Growing tehniques

Good evening my dear friends
I´m doing it again , i grow
Now i got 5 AK-48 and 5 Northern Light from Nirvana (all feminized) an with high hopes i begin

During this grow i will put in practise some of the tehniqes that i´ve learn from this site (thank you all), from books and from day by day life.
I will ad coments and fotos every day.

Were are the pics..lol sounds like the beginning of a good grow...

This is the first day and i want to begin with the first pictures:
The seeds :

They all went betwen 2 layers of cotton wool wit this watter:
(is so hard to regulate the Ph of distiled watter - i´ve used some mineral water and diluted nitric acid)

The equipement :
- Conductivity meter ... until i will buy a new one (pen type)
- Ph meter (new and calibrated)

i cant weit , i wana see the harvest rezult bro

i'm in for the show! i'm thinking about getting Nirvana NL auto as it is difficult for me to grow pheno-types during spring so, i'll be checking in. good luck

I had in mind to buy some auto NL but for the moment i´m resuming with the indoor grow.

Good evening

I peeked in the box in which seeds germinate , 8 of them have cracked. I will leave them in there until tommorow (i don´t know , morning or evening) so the other 2 will open and then stick them in the dirt (coco fiber)

I don´t have anny pic of the seeds but i´m having some pics...


This is the tray in wich i will grow them until they are readdy to be moved in some bigger pots (annywhere between 1 and 2 weeks)
Each seedling will have a transparent plastic cup on top. The seedling tray will float in a tray with water and a mild nutrient solution Ph-ed at 5,5 so it would get water thru the bottom holes (each seedling is having a 5mm round hole at the bottom for drainage and wetting). i will check every few hours the watter level in the tray and check the conductivity and the Ph and eventualy add some more watter. The conductivity of the watter wil grow graduately from 0,1 mS. I would like to raise the water conductivity with 0,1 mS every day if it´s possible.

All seeds have cracked open and shown their tap roots.

- Northern Lights

I´ve stick them in the coconut fiber , give them 10ml of water with 0,07ms nutrient increment at 5,64 Ph (i will give Ph 6 from now on) and put the tray to float in water+nutes

- water without nutrients
- water with nutrients - notice the small change in color

The nutrients:

This is my grow nutrient formula:
A:0.7-3.6-4.2 + 2 MgO - red (is containing iron)
B:4.6-0-5 + 6.2 CaO + micronutrients

- The concentrated nutrient solution (50ml water + 1ml A + 1ml B)
In the futture i will ad some amonium nitrate to the mix
- This is what hapens when i mix A with B in absence of water

The temperature in the grow room is around 25ºC and the humidity i will update later becouse the higrometer is kind of slow working ...

The temperature is hanging somwhere between 25 and 30ºC
The humidity is at 60 %
The lights will stay on for one week without dark time

This is the third day of my grow
All 5 of the AK-48 poped their heads ot of the coco.
I guess the Northern Light are a bit slower ...

Nice im subbed up and about ur nutes did u make those or is that a store bought brand? Nice however what kinda light?

those nuts are free , brand made ... i only have the NPK from them , not the micronutrient list
light is 125W 6400K 5U CFL
Thinking to go biger with the veg room or to buy 2 grow tents ... time wil tell

Free is the sweetest words ever how did ur previous grows go?

this is the first time i use this fertilizer and coco fiber
i´ve seen some mj plants growing with this tipe of fertilizer and they grow big like titans
but you have seen just 2 of my bottles , i have more than 20 bottles with fertilizers , aditives and all kind of substances (solids and liquids).
the previous grows were in soil with regular plant fertilizer high in N for grow and orchid fertilizer for bloom

2 of my NL seeds died. i can´t figure the cauze. they were identicaly like when i´ve put them in the coco fiber and some milky white thick substance came out of them ... at least i have 1 for clones and i´m waiting for the other 2 to pop out.
The EC-meter broke down but i have something to replace until a new one or fixed.
The 5 AK´s and 1 NL that have sprouted are doing well and they are under transparent plastic cups.

So i will grow only 6 plants for this grow
5 AK48 and one NL
At least i will have one NL for the clones - Yes , i will try to make clones for the next grow.
