4x3 vs 4x4 flowering question?? +rep

what would yeild more a 4x4tent with a 6oowatt hps with 6 plants or 4x3area 600w hps 6 plants?

a 4x4 lets you have bigger or i should say bushier plants so there is more potential yeild

thanks mate but would 600w be good enough for 4x4 im on a slite bujet

1k is better (more light penetration deep down) but 600 is the most energy efficient bulb in the hps family. the price is not much diff.

dont pay more then $200 deliverd for a 1K or $300 air cooled 1K.

im not completely sure but i think it would be enough. my buddy has 2 400w's that cover 6.5x6.5

Your area wouldn't matter too much in this case, it's the # of plants you're growing under 600 watts that matters. I would get the 4x4 tent just in case you wanted more space in the future.

You will definitely be able to put a 1k light in there with proper ventilation but a 600w is just fine, more efficient too.
