48'' Flourecents

How many 48'' flourecents do you need to use to get good results vegging and flowering (somethin equivalent to maybe a 400w MH). i know to use cool white in the veg state and warm white wehn flowering but how many should i use? Cool white 40 watt bulbs= 3200 lumens.. Warm white 40 watt bulbs= 3400 lumens. how many should i use in each stage?

for veg i used two shoplights with two bulbs a piece and the veg was good but i went about 5 weeks with them into flower with pretty bad results, then bought a 400w hps and they took off. but to flower with floro's you need quite a few.

im using 8 ballast 2 bulbs in each ballast cool white. i have them set up 4 ballast wide side by side, the other 4 are hanging underneath for another cloning room they work great for me but i dont flower with them gotta use hps or mh

hey bro if we dont get our ballast by the time we flower them i think if we at least use 5 fixtures we should be ok cause that will add up to about 450w but we both know u dont have to use metal halide or hps for flowering many people have used cfl's for flowering but we'll try it and see how it goes and we will change them all to the warm white bulbs and change from 18/6 to 12/12 and i want to get the flora nova nutes for flowering and the big bloom nutes but i'll keep tryin to find out for real how it will turn out if we do use the florescents for flowering alright bro later!!!

You have to use the red floros for flowering but hps is the way to go..
